Low Dose Naltrexone
Potential benefits for autoimmune diseases, chronic pain and more — compounded to the precise dose each patient needs.
Low-dose naltrexone (LDN) is a medication that has gained interest in recent years for its potential benefits in a variety of conditions, including autoimmune diseases, chronic pain and certain types of cancer.
LDN is a modified form of naltrexone, which is used in higher doses to treat opioid addiction and alcoholism. Since the FDA-approved dose of naltrexone for addiction treatment is 50 mg per day, compounding pharmacies like ours are often used to create LDN formulations appropriate for individual patients.
Compounded medications require a prescription from a licensed prescriber, and not every medication can be compounded. This page is informational and is not medical advice.
